The Pitch

The Pitch is a classic sports bar for the entire family. Located at the Shawnee Sports Complex, The Pitch has all the screens to keep an eye on the score and a full menu of comfort foods with a few surprises. Detroit-style pizzas, craft burgers, and a legendary appetizer featuring the famous West Virginia Pepperoni roll round out a packed menu. A full bar and 18 taps of your favorite beer including eight daily features from West Virginia Craft Brewer Stumptown.

Ellen’s Ice Cream

Ellen’s Homemade Ice Cream opened in September 1997, bringing delicious homemade ice cream to downtown Charleston, WV. All of the ice creams, sherbets, gelatos, and sorbets are made on the premises. Ellen’s also offers coffee, tea and other drinks as well as lunch options including homemade soups, green salads, pasta/grain salads, wraps, and more. The menu includes many vegetarian and vegan options.

Chef Paul Smith and 1010 Bridge co-owners Aaron and Marie Clark acquired the historic ice cream shop in 2022 and brought some renovations and updates to insure Ellen’s would continue as a Charleston staple for years to come.
